UNFURLING LEAVES

Unfurling Leaves is a series of portraits made of children in Kensal Green, north west London as restrictions on their movement were lifted. I wanted to catch a particular moment, not to define it, but to record it so that the particular light in their eyes, the result of confinement and solitude,  is preserved for ever.
